Returning for its seventh season, the ePremier League offers EA SPORTS FC™ players the chance to represent their favourite teams, claim a share of a massive £100,000 prize pool, and secure a spot in the eChampions League and FC Pro World Championship 25.
Kicking off on Wednesday, 20 November, players will compete in three online qualification stages for each club between November and December to determine who will advance to the January Club Playoffs.
40 players from 20 Premier League clubs will then battle in a 1v1 team format taking place in the ePremier League’s historical home London, England.
Once the players and their teams have been confirmed, the live ePremier League events will take place across two weekends:
ePremier League Group Stages - 1 & 2 March
ePremier League Knockout Stages - Saturday, 22 March
ePremier League Finals - Sunday, 23 March
Last year, Manchester City’s Tekkz and Mattias Bonanno secured the championship by defeating Brighton & Hove Albion’s Jayden Groden and Marc Marley 2-1 over two legs. Tekkz clinched victory in the first leg with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Jayden.
However, the second leg of the final brought plenty of drama as Bonanno was pegged back after an early goal. The Manchester City player managed to hold on to the draw, allowing the pair to lift the trophy and secure their spot in last summer’s eChampions League and FC Pro World Championship.
